Ministry - So What - from the greatest Ministry album of all time (fact, not opinion). - MIGHT be slightly NSFW. And by slightly I mean don’t blame me if you get fired.

This is my favorite Ministry song. I first head it in my early teens while being driven to school by my neighbors dad, who was an old school metal head. When I asked "what was that?" he thought I didn't like it and offered to turn it down. Quite the opposite. I must have listened to that album hundreds of times before I left middle school.

As someone who grew up metal and punk, then found goth and industrial, A Mind... holds a VERY special place in my heart. Right next to Broken . (I found the goth / industrial scene a couple of years after Mind came out. But it was still in constant rotation, and this track very much so).

I still love 80s-90s industrial. No shame.

I wrote for, and worked in the offices of Industrial Nation back in the late 90's. I was a field rep for Invisible Records prior to that. I loved that era of music. Still do.

very cool. Best I have is I was friends with a bunch of people at Victory Records in Chicago which put out a bunch of punk and metal albums. But that was mid-2000s.

Nice! I lived in Chicago from 96-99 and really had a lot of fun while I was there.

Yeah, it was a fun city for that. Lots of small concerts in questionable places.

Yep. Saw my favorite band of all time (Curve) play at the Double Door, that was amazing. Saw too many shows to count at The Metro, Ministry at The Aragon, a few festivals, and then a bunch of obscure bands at a bunch of different places.
One of the strangest / most surreal moments was realizing that yes, that is indeed Chris Connelly who I just bought a bunch of records from at Reckless Records.

That awesome. The weirdest I saw was a small metal band lineup at a unused Hershey candy plant on the westside. It was literally in the old factory. It could not have been more industrial. Supremely sketchy area.
